The final fixture of the year is set. The U21 A championship final, Newmarket v Corofin/Ruan is at Gurteen, 7:30pm on next Wednesday Dec 22nd. No doubt our lads face a massive challenge vs the hot favourites, stacked with county men. But this is a Newmarket team that have been underdogs twice before, yet come out on top. Those matches were both entertaining and inspiring, as they hurled with ferocious intensity and somehow found a way. Can lightning strike for a third time?
